Can I order a window or door with a different size than what you have listed?

Yes, what we have listed are the standard sizes (commodity sizes) for windows and doors, in other words, the sizes that are commonly used. For other sizes, please fill out the order form choosing the window closest to your size window and leave the accurate dimensions in the comments section of the order form, and we will contact you with the accurate price. Alternatively, call us at 239-591-8118, mention that you were just on our website, and we can handle your order from there.

Are there extra charges for ordering a window or door that is a different size than what is listed?

No, there is no extra charge for ordering a window or door of a different size. Please keep in mind that bigger windows cost more and smaller windows cost less.

Do you sell windows that are not insulated, LoE 366, or not covered in UV-blocking films?

Under normal circumstances, we do not. This is partly because of the strict energy code compliance for new windows in Florida. We want to ensure that all of our clients’ local energy codes are met. Additionally, we believe that these modern advancements are well worth the investment in the form of the return on insulation, heat-reflection and comfort of life. We would not install a window without these modern advancements in our homes, and do not like the idea of selling what we would not buy.

Will you measure the openings for my new windows and doors for me?

Yes, of course we will. We understand that, with an investment in custom hurricane impact windows, there is a lot of pressure on the person making the initial measurement as there can be no refund. For a nominal fee, will drive to your home or building and measure the opening for you and assume responsibility for your windows’ ability to fit in your opening.

Will you deliver my new windows or doors?

Yes, we will. We deliver to all of Southwest Florida, from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, to Naples/Marco Island/Ft. Myers, to Tampa Bay, to Orlando, and all points in between.

Is delivery free/How much is delivery?

Delivery of windows and doors is 100% free for destinations within 25 driving miles from our shop at:

For hurricane window and door orders of $3000 or more, delivery is always free.

For hurricane window and door delivery points further than 25 miles on orders less than $3000, we charge about 50 cents for every driving mile between our shop and your home or building, round trip. We are trying to make this an excellent deal for professional delivery to your home or building.

For Custom Glass Work (shower enclosures, shower doors, furniture glass, glass tabletops), we are happy to deliver and install these within the range of Everglades City to Marco Island to southern Lee County.

In addition to selling and delivering windows and doors, will you also install widows and doors?

Yes, in addition to measuring services, we are also happy to install your windows for you. The fee for this will be discussed with you after your make your (non-binding) online order.

How long will it take to get my windows?

From the moment we receive payment, it typically takes 4-6 weeks to get your windows and doors made. Sometimes, though rarely, CGI gets overloaded with orders all at once, which will push their ability to make your windows out a little further. This is the nature of all custom work industries. We will inform you just as soon as CGI informs us if this rare occurrence applies to your order.

No, however we do work closely with Gregory’s Frame Shop who has literally thousands of samples.

What thicknesses do you offer for glass used in showers?

We offer both 3/8” thick glass and ½” thick glass. Most of out clients prefer 3/8”, but ½ inch thick glass can add that extra element of luxury.

Do you apply mirrored bevel strip “framing” for existing mirrors to cover black edges?

Yes, frequently. We have options and options available for this very purpose, from several thicknesses of the glass to corner treatments to multiple beveling options in stock to assist in your choice. Please call 239-591-8118 to set up an appointment.

How long will it take to finish my job?

Typically, all shower installs, from measure to completion, is around 2 to 3 weeks to get the material in our shop. It will take only 1 day for install. Sometimes we get the material faster than that.
Mirrors are usually installed within a week of your order.
Shop cut tabletops and glass can be done in a few days. We have been know to rush an order in a tabletop emergency.
